A reported Russian jet-powered drone strike hit Dnipro railway station in Ukraine on October 29, 2026, killing at least 13 people and injuring 10 others. The attack struck a platform occupied by passengers, raising fresh concerns about civilian safety and attacks on railway infrastructure.

A Russian jet-powered drone struck a crowded railway platform in Ukraine’s Dnipro city on Thursday, October 29, 2026, killing at least 13 people and injuring 10 others. The attack hit the city’s main railway station, where a passenger train was preparing to leave for Zaporizhzhia. Ukrainian authorities confirmed that several civilians were present on the platform when the drone struck, causing casualties and damage to railway infrastructure.

The strike took place during the morning hours, despite authorities issuing warnings about increased danger from Russian attacks. Ukraine’s state railway operator, Ukrzaliznytsia, confirmed that a jet-powered unmanned aerial vehicle hit the platform where train number 866, operating between Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia, was standing.
