Delhi BMW crash case: Deceased Finance Ministry official's son alleges foul play; FIR reveals disturbing details
New Delhi: A senior official in the Union Finance Ministry died on Sunday after a speeding BMW crashed into his motorcycle near the Delhi Cantonment metro station. The accident, which also left three others injured, has sparked allegations of negligence, favouritism and deliberate delay in medical care.
The deceased — 52-year-old Navjot Singh — served as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs. The accident occurred when he was returning home after lunch with his wife, Sandeep Kaur, when their two-wheeler was hit by the BMW from behind. Singh, who lived in Hari Nagar, suffered fatal injuries on his head and leg, while his wife Sandeep Kaur sustained fractures in her arms and legs, along with a deep wound on her head.
In her statement to police, Kaur alleged that the BMW driver, identified as Gagandeep Kaur, was speeding and lost control........
