Almora: The peaceful and cultural city of Almora is facing embarrassment after an incident of hooliganism by outside tourists. Despite continuous campaigns by the Municipal Corporation and District Administration to maintain Almora’s clean image, irresponsible actions by visitors are tarnishing the city’s dignity.

The latest incident occurred on Mall Road near the GGIC intersection on Tuesday. According to eyewitnesses, three people arrived in a blue‑black vehicle with a Haryana registration number. The occupants of the vehicle were seen throwing garbage onto the road from the moving car.

Local residents, noticing this, politely requested the tourists to use dustbins instead of littering.........
