Mamata expresses concern for Bangladeshi minorities, but afraid to utter the H word!
Politics is going on across the country on the issue of the prosecution of Hindus in Bangladesh. Meanwhile, amid this West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has said, ‘What is happening in Bangladesh is not right. Minorities are being oppressed. Miscreants are rioting. But we should not make any such comment which has an impact here. Someone is saying that they can capture Bengal, Bihar, and Odisha by crossing the border. I want to tell them to stay safe and healthy. No one has such a right. If someone wants to try to capture Bengal or Bihar by crossing the border, will we eat lollipops?”
Speaking in the West Bengal Assembly, Mamata urged people to stay calm and not react to provocative statements from Bangladesh. The Bengal CM assured that the state will support every decision taken by the Government of India.
