Rishabh Pant appeals to Uttarakhand CM to buy land, plans to shift base from Delhi

Rishabh Pant has sought Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s help in buying land to build his first home in his native state, saying he wants to move back from Delhi and contribute to Uttarakhand.

New Delhi: Rishabh Pant has sought help from Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami as he looks to buy land and move his base from Delhi to his native state. The India wicketkeeper-batter said he has been trying to find suitable land for the past three years.

Pant made the request in a post on X early on Saturday morning, tagging Dhami directly. The 28-year-old, who is currently with the Indian team in Sri Lanka said his intention was to return to his roots and eventually contribute to the state.

“I have been trying to buy land to shift my base from Delhi to Uttarakhand and I couldn’t find anything facilitating and big to live here. I love my Uttarakhand,” Pant wrote.
