Quinton de Kock shines on Pakistan return, equals MS Dhoni’s rare feat
New Delhi: Quinton de Kock’s return to international cricket could not have been more spectacular. After coming back from retirement, the South African wicket-keeper-batsman immediately made his presence felt in the ODI series against Pakistan at Faisalabad’s Iqbal Stadium. Across the three matches, de Kock opened the innings for the Proteas. He scored a total of 239 runs including a century and two half-centuries. His remarkable consistency even earned him the Player of the Series award.
The series win also marked a historic moment for de Kock as he equalled MS Dhoni’s record of seven Player of the Series awards as a wicket-keeper in ODIs. Former Indian captain had set the benchmark over his distinguished 15-year career from 2004........
