Independence Day: Heavy vehicles from Gurugram barred from entering Delhi from August 12

Gurugram heavy goods vehicles will face no entry into Delhi during specified hours from August 12 to 15 for Independence Day security arrangements. Essential vehicles, ambulances and airport-bound passenger traffic will remain exempt under the traffic advisory issued by police.

New Delhi: Heavy goods vehicles travelling from Gurugram to Delhi will face entry restrictions during specified hours from August 12 to 15 in view of Independence Day security arrangements, Gurugram traffic police said on Tuesday.

As per the traffic advisory, the first restriction will remain in place from 5 pm on August 12 to 1:30 pm on August 13.........
