Harry Kane nets 100th Bayern goal, breaks Ronaldo and Haaland's record
New Delhi: Harry Kane continues to smash records in Germany. The Bayern Munich striker scored twice in his side’s 3-1 win over Werder Bremen on Friday to reach 100 goals for the club in just 104 matches. With this milestone he became the fastest player to achieve the feat in Europe’s top five leagues.
The England captain converted a penalty right before half-time for his first goal of the night, before pouncing on a rebound in the 65th minute to complete his brace and seal yet another milestone. By doing so, he moved past Cristiano Ronaldo and Erling Haaland, who both needed 105 games to reach 100 goals with Real Madrid and Manchester City respectively.
