New Delhi: Erik Ten Hag is close to finalising a deal to become the new manager of Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen, stepping in to replace Xabi Alonso. The Dutch coach has been without a job since his departure from Manchester United in October and now looks ready to make his return to football management in Germany.
Ten Hag’s connection with German football isn’t new. He spent two years leading Bayern Munich’s reserve team early in his coaching career.
