Mumbai: The BSE Sensex jumped 398.44 points to finish settle at 82,172.10 and NSE Nifty went up 135.65 points to 25,181.80 on October 9, 2025, Thursday. The stock markets rebounded as buying was reported in stocks of IT firms and blue-chip Reliance Industries and foreign fund inflows. According to exchange data, Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) purchased equities worth Rs 81.28 crore on Wednesday.

Bajaj Broking Research said Sensex and Nifty made a good comeback as buying was recorded across all key sectors.
