New Delhi: India defeated Pakistan by five wickets in a thrilling contest at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday, September 28. This was the Men in Blue’s second consecutive and overall ninth Asia Cup title. Tilak Varma was the hero with the bat for India as he scored an unbeaten 69 runs off 53 deliveries.

After beating Pakistan, Indian fans heaped praise on Tilak Varma and the Men in Blue side. Some fans quoted the left-hand batter as ‘Starboy,’ ‘next hero of the Indian team,’ and ‘National hero’.
