'Captain of India': Shaun Pollock mistakenly calls Shan Masood as Indian skipper during Pakistan and South Africa Test match
New Delhi: South Africa’s legendary all-rounder Shaun Pollock’s slip of tongue made a huge blunder in the first Test match between Pakistan and South Africa at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Sunday, October 12.
Pollock mistakenly called Pakistan Test skipper Shan Masood as ‘captain of India.’ After the 39th over of Pakistan’s innings, the cameraman showed a fan holding a banner named ‘King Babar.’ Pollock showed his disbelief at the fact that the crowd wants their skipper to dismiss just to see Babar Azam on the crease. By passing this comment, he refers to Masood as the captain of India.
