New Delhi: Ginger Games, a studio backed by the Krafton India Gaming Incubator has debuted with backing from industry veterans. The founders are Sumit Batheja who previously helmed leadership roles at Yahoo and Alibaba, and Shrey Mishra, who is experienced in the XR space, previously founding Gaming Central and XR central. The founding team has over 50 years of combined gaming and media entertainment experience. Ginger Games aims to tackle the problems of monetisation and retention through IP creation and thoughtful game design, and is building a design and operations engine to drive long-term engagement through live ops.
