Tamil Nadu CM Vijay’s wife Sangeetha withdraws divorce petition from Chengalpattu court

Sangeetha, wife of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay, has withdrawn her divorce petition from a family court in Chengalpattu. She informed the court through video conferencing that she did not want to pursue the case. The court subsequently disposed of the petition as withdrawn, according to official court sources.

New Delhi: Sangeetha, wife of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay, on Friday withdrew the divorce petition she had filed before a family court in Chengalpattu near Chennai.

Sangeetha appeared before the court through video conferencing when it took up the matter. She informed the court that she no longer wanted to pursue the proceedings. The court then disposed of the petition as withdrawn, official court sources said.
