New Delhi: The Gujarat Police have arrested 12 people in connection with a brutal incident in Dahod district, where a woman was dragged, paraded half-naked and assaulted in Dhalsimal village on January 28 over allegations of an extramarital affair.

According to officials, the woman’s in-laws suspected her of having a relationship with a local resident. Her husband is currently imprisoned for murder. The attack was reportedly orchestrated by her in-laws, who, along with a group of nearly 15 people, forced her through the streets while subjecting her to physical abuse.
