Gorakhpur: The mystery surrounding the murder of a 25-year-old woman who went missing from Gorakhpur two months ago has been solved. Her friend killed her in Vasai on December 25 and dumped her body in a drain. When Gorakhpur police arrived in Vasai and requested an investigation, the Vasai Crime Branch cracked the case within 24 hours and arrested the accused.

To mislead the police and the victim’s family, the accused placed the woman’s mobile phone in the Rajdhani Express train, attempting to stage a scene similar to the movie Drishyam. The aim was to create the illusion that Priya Singh had gone missing in Delhi.
