Priyansh Arya and Cooper Connolly played starring roles as Punjab Kings hammered the Lucknow Super Giants by 54 runs to continue their unbeaten run in the IPL 2026.

New Delhi: Destructive knocks from opener Priyash Arya and no.3 Cooper Connolly powered Punjab Kings (PBKS) to a thumping 54-run victory against the Lucknow Super Giants in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 on Sunday, April 19. PBKS defeated LSG to bag their fifth win of the season and retain their top spot on the IPL 2026 points table. Shreyas Iyer & Co. have won five of their six games, with one match resulting in a washout.

Priyansh slammed a brilliant 97 off just 37 balls, while Connolly hammered a quickfire 87 off 46 deliveries as Punjab Kings dominated their way to 254/7 after being asked to bat first in the game at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur. PBKS bowlers did well to restrict LSG to 200/5 in 20 overs in the mammoth run chase to secure a thumping victory for the hosts.
