KL Rahul, Abhimanyu Easwaran slam fifties as India A extend lead in 2nd unofficial Test vs England Lions
New Delhi: KL Rahul continued his impressive run while skipper Abhimanyu Easwaran redeemed himself with half-centuries apiece to help India A amass a 184-run lead at stumps on Day 3 of the ongoing second unofficial Test against England Lions at the County Ground in Northampton on Sunday. Rahul and Easwaran combined to share an 88-run stand for the second wicket in India A’s second innings.
Indian bowlers dominated the proceedings in the first session on Day 3 as England Lions resumed their first innings on 192/3, trailing India A by 156 runs. Left-arm pacer Khaleel Ahmed dismissed Jordan Cox on 45 to draw the first blood for India A on Day 3 before picking up three more wickets in his next three overs to reduce the hosts to tatters.
