IPL 2026: Gujarat Tians beat Punjab Kings in a thriller to bag third consecutive victory

Gujarat Titans defeated Punjab Kings in a last-over thriller to continue their winning streak in the IPL 2026 on Sunday.

New Delhi: Gujarat Titans (GT) made a meal out of it, but held their nerves in the end to chase down the target of 164 runs with one ball to spare to beat Punjab Kings (PBKS) by four wickets in the IPL 2026 on Sunday, May 03. GT rode on opener Sai Sudharsan’s gritty half-century and Washington Sundar’s unbeaten 40 to pull off a successful chase and bag their third win in a row in the tournament.

In pursuit of the 164-run target, GT got off to a shaky start, losing skipper Shubman Gill cheaply on 5 off 4 balls as Arshdeep Singh struck early to give PBKS a perfect start. However, Sudharsan combined with Jos Buttler to steady the ship for the hosts at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
