New Delhi: India’s assistant coach Ryan Ten Doeschate broke his silence on Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf’s controversial ‘plane-crash’ gestures during the Super 4 clash between the two sides in the ongoing Asia Cup 2025. Rauf stooped to a new low and made some provocative gestures on the field after being taunted by the Indian fans during India’s run chase in their Super 4 game against Pakistan on Sunday.
India hammered Pakistan by six wickets in the match to bag their second win against the Men in Green and kick off their Super 4 campaign with a stellar victory. During India’s chase, Rauf was seen making gestures of crashing planes while fielding near the boundary rope, trying to reiterate his nation’s baseless and uncorroborated claim of downing six Indian jets during the military tensions between the two countries earlier this year.
