New Delhi: In a shocking development, Pakistan have reportedly decided to pull out of their final group-stage match against UAE and the remainder of the Asia Cup 2025. The Pakistan team management has reportedly decided to boycott the game after their request to remove match referee Andy Pycroft from the tournament was rejected by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

Pakistan were scheduled to lock horns with the home team, UAE, in their third and final group-stage match at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai on Wednesday, September 17. However, according to Pakistani news outlet Geo News, the Pakistan team management has informed the players that they will not play today’s match against UAE.

The players have been instructed that they will not be travelling to the stadium for the game. At the time of publishing this report, there were unconfirmed reports that the Pakistan team had not taken the bus to reach the Dubai International Stadium for their match against UAE.
