The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has once again proven that trust, good governance, and development triumph over theatrics and betrayal. The recent Delhi Assembly elections resulted in a landslide victory for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, dismantling the carefully curated but ultimately hollow narrative of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). The electorate’s resounding mandate is not just a rejection of AAP’s misgovernance but also an ominous sign for the party’s future in Punjab.

Since its inception, AAP branded itself as a party of transparency and corruption-free governance. Ironically, it now finds itself mired in corruption scandals, broken promises, and political opportunism. The so-called ‘new-age governance’ crumbled under the weight of contradictions and deceit.

The liquor scam, the unchecked lavish spending on personal luxuries, and Kejriwal’s opulent ‘Sheesh Mahal’ residence have unmasked the hypocrisy of the party that once claimed to stand against the VIP culture. Arvind Kejriwal, who entered politics vowing to bring honesty and transparency, has now become synonymous with everything he once opposed. The freebie politics that initially won him support has lost its sheen as the BJP countered it with pragmatic incentives grounded in fiscal responsibility.

Kejriwal’s arrogance and misplaced confidence took a significant hit. Unlike previous elections where he boasted assured victories, this time, he refrained from making grand proclamations—perhaps sensing the discontent brewing........
