Opinion | Pahalgam Attack Is Not Just Terrorism, It’s A Declaration Of War Against Bharat

On a sunny afternoon in the serene Baisaran Valley of Pahalgam — often romanticised as ‘Mini Switzerland’ for its breathtaking meadows — the skies were torn apart by a horror that no words can justify. Around 3 pm, terrorists descended from the mountains and opened fire on unarmed, unsuspecting tourists. The blood-soaked green pastures bore witness to what can no longer be described as a “militant strike" or “act of terror." No — this was something far darker, more dangerous, and disturbingly deliberate.

This was Ghazwa-e-Hind in motion — a calculated, ideological assault on Bharat, on its people, its values, and its sovereign right to peace. The time for euphemisms is over. What happened in Pahalgam is not just terrorism. It is an act of war.

Recently, General Asim Munir Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff who is the de facto ruler of the Cantonment State that Pakistan is, reminded Pakistanis of their so-called “superior ideology and culture". He said, “You should definitely tell Pakistan’s story to your children. Our forefathers thought that we are different from the Hindus in every aspect of life. Our religions, our customs, traditions, thoughts and ambitions are different. That was the foundation of the two-nation theory that was laid."
