Look what Democrats are telling EACH OTHER about their plans if they win the House

To see just what lunacy is in store for the nation if Democrats flip the House in November’s midterm elections, consider Tuesday night’s “State of the Swamp” rally, “counterprogramming” President Donald Trump’s State of the Union speech.

Gov. Abigail Spanberger (D-Va.) gave Dems’ public-facing reply, but the party’s true heart was on display at the event sponsored by the Democratic National Committee-associated Defiance.org.

They’re revving up the old #Resistance machine and studying their old playbook for ideas.

Election denier Stacey Abrams — the failed Georgia gov candidate who supposedly saved “our democracy” — made a videotaped appearance, as did actor Mark Ruffalo, who has been accusing Israel of “committing genocide” since at least 2014.

One prominent speaker was Norm Eisen, the longtime Clinton fixer hired by the House Judiciary Committee in 2018 to design and manage the legal strategy for Trump’s first impeachment — fresh proof that the base will insist that yet more Trump impeachments be among the first orders of business if Hakeem Jeffries becomes House speaker.

Indeed, former Sen. Jon Tester told the rally just that: “There’s one thing Democrats have to do next year when they take over the House and Senate, and that’s impeach the son-of-a-bitch!”

Also on the scene was impeachment veteran Rep. Eugene Vindman (D-Va.); he and his twin brother Alexander (now running for Senate in Florida) were neck-deep in the 2019 Trump impeachment — Alex being the supposed “whisteblower” who got the whole Ukraine-call pseudo-scandal going as soon as the Russiagate witch hunt came up empty.

Indeed, a refugee from the Russiagate special-persecutor team, Rep. Dan Goldman (D-Manhattan), also took the stage.

The Defiance crew are all but announcing their plans for a Democratic majority: Any effort to actually do the people’s business will be back-burnered if favor of endless bogus hearings to bolster fresh articles of impeachment — the specific accusations to be manufactured when they’re needed, as with Vindman’s 2019 “whistleblowing.”

Notably, Rep. Seth Moulton (D-Mass.) said he looks forward to living in a country where “pedophiles go to prison,” touching on another major theme that he and Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) have been sounding — dark but evidence-free claims that the Trump administration is “covering up” for a ring of billionaire sex criminals.

Release of the Epstein files should have put those charges to rest — except that expert conspiracy theorists will treat any lack of evidence as proof to that the conspiracy must run even deeper than they’d thought: Rest assured, a Democrat-run House will keep up the witch hunt.

Dems’ other cuckoo obsession was on full display too: The insistence that immigration enforcement is somehow the prelude to a full-on coup — a theme bizarrely presented by “comedian” activists dressed up as frogs and giraffes who twerked while leading the audience in chants of “F— ICE!”

Not intended to be similar “humor as resistance” were the stage appearances of Mayors Jacob Frey of Minneapolis and Brandon Johnson of Chicago, who vowed more local “resistance” to federal law enforcement.

“Resistance must be as expansive and unyielding as the threats that we face,” thundered Johnson.

Imagine if mayors didn’t encourage their residents to confront federal officers and instead cooperated in arresting dangerous criminals: Their cities would be far better off, though Democrats would have less pretext to pretend it’s the Trump administration driving the disorder.

Pulling it all together was sad old Robert De Niro, whose gig playing Russiagate special prosecutor Bob Meuller ended so disappointingly: He encouraged the crowd to “get ready to take to the streets together and we will take our country back.”

This is what the heart of today’s Democratic Party is all about: Chaos in the streets plus obstruction and conspiracy theories in Congress — all in the name of supposedly preserving “our democracy.”

It’s every Republican candidate’s job to ensure voters see that this madness is what their opponents truly stand for.
