I’ve spent my whole life in B.C., and I’d never call anywhere else home. But I’m one of the lucky ones.

By the tens of thousands, British Columbians are fleeing to other provinces as the dream of buying a home and starting a family disappears. Faced with a declining standard of living, threats to private property rights, an affordability crisis and rampant crime on our streets, people are losing hope.

But this didn’t happen on its own. It’s the direct result of more than eight years under an NDP government that has consistently put its own activist ideology ahead of what’s right for B.C.
