This November began with good news for Pablo Rodriguez’s Quebec Liberal Party (QLP): a Léger poll showed the party slowly closing the gap with the separatist Parti Québécois (PQ), trailing by only five points, after months of double-digit deficits. Then, two weeks ago, everything unravelled. Rodriguez is now engulfed in a crisis that could seriously damage the QLP’s chances of winning the October 2026 provincial election.
