There aren't many products that are unique to a particular supermarket these days.

With all of them competing for our custom, they're usually going head-to-head with most things. But it seems Aldi has decided to one-up its rivals on the steak front, becoming the first supermarket to sell a new range of 40-day matured Aberdeen Angus steaks.

There are three to choose from - Rump (£4.49, 227g), Sirloin (£5.69, 227g) and Ribeye (£5.79, 227g).
