Situated on the scenic eastern shore of Lake Huron, the Port of Goderich is more than a gateway to the heartland of North America – it is a crucial component of Canada’s supply chain network. With direct access to the H2O Highway, this vital transportation corridor links local, provincial, national, and global trade partners to major markets. As the only deep-water port on the eastern side of Lake Huron capable of expanding, it is strategically located to support the local, regional, and national movement of goods in Southern Ontario.

The Port of Goderich plays a critical role in the supply chains of the agriculture, aggregate, mining, manufacturing, and energy industries. However, current capacity constraints limit its full potential, jeopardizing economic growth at both the local and national levels. With strategic investments and an eye toward the future, expanding the Port of Goderich will unlock transformative opportunities for Canada’s economy while addressing pressing global trade challenges.
