The shower has long been a great place for innovative thinking, but Quiet Town takes it a step further. The Fairfax, CA-based company’s lineup of colorful, heavy-duty shower curtains, bath rugs, and towels, products prove that sustainability doesn’t have to be boring.

In addition to its recycling program, the company says it uses organic materials, and repurposed fabrics. Where possible, it makes an effort to source and manufacture its products in the U.S., with domestic-made components like brass and stainless steel shower curtain hooks and aluminum parts designed for recyclability.

But it still manufactures certain things, of note, its Sun Shower curtain, internationally. And that could spell disaster for this trendy upstart.
