AI-Generated Podcasts Boom on Audio Platforms. Are You Listening to One?

A new study finds the format is rapidly expanding.

You might not believe what you’re hearing. With the rising accessibility of artificial intelligence, a new report stated that in the span of nine days, nearly 39% of podcast feeds might have been AI-generated. 

The new boom was documented by the Podcast Index, an open-source tracking platform owned by Dave Jones. The tracker notes that many of these AI-generated podcasts are being uploaded to multiple podcast platforms, primarily Spreaker by iHeartRadio.
