Here’s What HR Leaders Are Worried About in the AI Era
A survey shows human resources pros believe many people exaggerate their work skills, from leadership down to frontline tech workers.

We live in complex, changing times, as shown by the pace at which potentially world-changing AI technology is already impacting the workplace and the overall job market. So it’s especially worrying that a new survey of HR professionals reveals serious concern that the average employee’s skills just aren’t keeping up with the cutting edge. This skills gap could leave many companies unprepared for a workplace future that’s fast becoming a reality, industry site HRDive warns.
The survey of 1,000 HR and learning and development professionals was carried out by New Hampshire-based educational tech company Skillsoft, which recently released its results. The top takeaway: Just 10 percent of those surveyed feel “fully” confident that their company’s employees have the right skills to meet daily business demands over the next year or two.........
