Fidji Simo, OpenAI’s incoming CEO of Applications, has released a blog post laying out her vision for an AI-powered future, and outlining OpenAI’s role in making that vision a reality.

In May, OpenAI cofounder and CEO Sam Altman announced that he had hired Simo, who is currently wrapping up her final weeks as the CEO of Instacart, to serve as OpenAI’s CEO of Applications, a newly-created role.
