A senior Conservative politician has been mocked online after taking exception to a supermarket biscuit.
Susan Hall, who was her party’s candidate to be London mayor last year, made clear her anger about a packet of Morrisons “mini gingerbread people”.
Posting a picture of the offending item on X, she said: “Look at this nonsense – NO – they are gingerbread men!!!”
