The secretary general of the military alliance has been trying to win over the Nato-sceptic American for months now amid fears he might one day pull the US of the defence alliance.
But he bizarrely called Trump “daddy” today as he tried to justify the president’s outburst about the Iran-Israel conflict on Tuesday.
