Kemi Badenoch accused Keir Starmer of not “having the balls” to admit to his U-turn over trans rights during a furious exchange in the Commons today.

The Supreme Court ruled last week that a woman is defined by biology, not gender, in a blow to the trans community.

The judgement was at odds with Starmer’s comments from 2022, when he claimed trans women are women.

The prime minister has since U-turned, and his spokesperson claimed on Tuesday that he does not think trans women are women.
