Keir Starmer skewered Kemi Badenoch in prime minister’s questions today by listing all the failures she oversaw when she was in government.

The prime minister hit out after the Conservative leader tried to back the prime minister into a corner over his past support for trans women.

The Supreme Court dealt a huge blow to the trans community last week when it ruled that a woman is defined by biology, not gender.

So Badenoch, known for gender-critical views, began her weekly sparring match with the PM by asking him to “accept” his March 2022 claim that “trans women are women” was wrong.

It’s worth noting the prime minister’s spokesperson said on Tuesday that Starmer does not believe a trans woman is a woman now.
