15 Unmissable New TV Shows, Films And Music Still To Come In 2025
A selection of what we still have to look forward to from TV, film, music and beyond in 2025
In a year that has already given us a Beyoncé stadium tour, a new Bridget Jones movie and a gripping trip back to The White Lotus resort, it’s hard to believe that some of the best of entertainment in 2025 is still yet to come.
From Billie Eilish hitting UK shores again and the long-awaited Oasis reunion, to Wicked part two and the final season of Stranger Things, the second half of the year is about to send pop culture fans into overdrive.
Here are our highlights of things to look forward to on the rest of the 2025 entertainment calendar…
1. You gotta roll with it… Oasis are finally back!
After 15 years of the Gallagher brothers bitterly feuding, there were many, many times when it looked like an Oasis reunion would never happen.
That was, until they announced their long-awaited reunion tour last year, declaring: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over.”
Liam and Noel will be performing at stadiums across the UK and Ireland throughout July – including five hometown shows at Manchester’s Heaton Park – which is set to make for some biblical music moments of the summer.
Return to Nevermore for Wednesday season two
After becoming third Netflix’s most watched English-language series ever and making an even bigger star of its lead Jenna Ortega, fans were thrilled to hear Wednesday would be returning for a second season (especially following speculation that it would be leaving Netflix).
Showrunners and executive producers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar told Netflix’s Tudum that the next season is “darker and more complex” as Wednesday “navigates family, friends, new mysteries, and old adversaries, propelling her headlong into another year at Nevermore”.
We can also expect to meet some new characters this season, including Steve Buscemi joining as Principal Dort, Joanna Lumley as Grandmama Hester Frump and even Lady Gaga (!!) in a guest role.
The season will be split into two parts, the first of which will arrive on 6 August, followed by the second a month later, on 3........
