Stranger Things featured this missing poster early on in its fifth season

Stranger Things fans are still spotting details hidden in the new episodes that began streaming last week.

The award-winning Netflix series recently returned for its fifth and final season, the first four episodes of which are currently available to watch.

Early on in episode one, viewers are presented with a missing poster for Millie Bobby Brown’s character Eleven – aka. Jane Hopper – at Hawkins High School, with students also being given a phone number to dial if they have any information.

Perhaps anticipating that viewers might be keen to try this out themselves, it’s now been revealed that Stranger Things bosses made sure that a real phone number was listed, with those in the States who dial it being presented with a pre-recorded message that fits the current narrative of the show.

The message reads: “Thank you for contacting the Hawkins Police Department. Due to the recent 7.4 magnitude earthquake, Hawkins is currently under lockdown to ensure the safety of our residents. The Hawkins Emergency Taskforce is working closely with Hawkins PD to track down missing persons, of which Jane Hopper is a priority.

“We urge you, as a responsible citizen of Hawkins, to assist us in our search to locate her.”

In case you need to know, this Easter egg - phone number........
