Stranger Things Fans Are Not Happy As Netflix Crashes Minutes After Season 5 Debuts
Stranger Things is back for its fifth and final season on Netflix
If you’re one of those who stayed up until the wee small hours so you could be among the first people to stream the new instalments of Stranger Things, you may have hit a bit of a frustrating stumbling block.
At around three o’clock on Thursday morning, Netflix released the first four episodes of Stranger Things’ fifth and final season, with two more drops set to take place on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve.
However, as many settled in to catch up with the Hawkins gang, they found that their Netflix was unable to load, as a surge of users worldwide crashed the platform’s servers.
Yes, mere minutes after volume one of Stranger Things’ fifth season debuted on Netflix, the platform briefly crashed, which didn’t exactly go down well with its diehard fanbase who had been waiting more than three years for the next chapter in the sci-fi saga:
