TikTok has unveiled its biggest songs of 2025

After Spotify unveiled its biggest artists of 2025 (and wound up insulting us all in the process) with its annual Wrapped event, TikTok has now shared its own listening data from the last 12 months.

Now, we all know that in the digital era, it’s entirely possible for a song to have a sudden resurgence years, or even decades, after its original release.

But what might surprise you to hear is that TikTok’s top song globally in 2025 wasn’t even released this year or, indeed, this side of the millennium…

Was the biggest song globally on TikTok in 2025?

Back in May, the late Connie Francis’ 1962 hit Pretty Little Baby became an unexpected trending hit on TikTok, being used in a total of 28.4 million videos, usually as the soundtrack for something wholesome.
