The Herb Linked To Less Stress, Less Bloating, And Better Driving
Though some research suggests pine scents can help us to relax, context seems to matter: a whiff of our Christmas tree might be more soothing to us than pine-scented loo cleaner, because of how we feel about both.
But according to Michigan State University (MSU), the scent of a common herb, as well as hot tea made from it, has been linked to lowered stress levels, improved memory and alertness, and even better sleep and self-confidence.
It might even make you a better driver, they added.
Peppermint is linked to less stress, improved memory, better driving, and less bloating
In a 2021 study, peppermint tea was found to decrease stress and anxiety levels among university students.
