Now, Netflix has thrown its hat in the ring with The Beast In Me, which sees Claire Danes playing a reclusive author who becomes obsessed with her suspicious neighbour – who is harbouring secrets of his own.

A star of both film and TV, you’ll most definitely have seen Claire Danes in action before.
Claire first rose to fame playing Angela Chase in 90s US teen drama My So-Called Life and made her big screen debut in the 1994 adaptation of Little Women playing Beth, alongside an impressive cast that included Winona Ryder, Kirsten Dunst, Christian Bale and Susan Sarandon.
Following this, her major breakthrough moment came when she appeared opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in Baz Luhrmann’s modern classic Romeo Juliet as one half of the doomed couple.
Her other film work has included The Rainmaker, Brokedown Palace, The Hours, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, The Family Stone, Shopgirl and Stardust.
In recent years, she’s starred in a handful of big-hitting, critically acclaimed TV series like Homeland – for which she picked up an Emmy –as well as The Essex Serpent and Fleishman Is In Trouble.
