11 Roles You Might Have Forgotten Rhea Seehorn Played Before Pluribus
Rhea Seehorn as Carol in Pluribus
If the reviews are anything to go by, the Apple TV drama Pluribusis about to become the next big TV series.
From Vince Gilligan, the same creator as Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, the sci-fi thriller centres around “the most miserable person on Earth” in the form of romance author Carol Sturka, who is played by Rhea Seehorn.
Carol has the small task of trying to save humanity before they fall victim to hive mind happiness manufactured by some shady extraterrestrial activity.
Rhea has already been widely praised for her powerful central performance as Carol, with plenty of critics saying she’s surely a shoo-in for an Emmy award, having missed out earlier on in her career.
Pluribus sees Rhea reunite with the team behind Better Call Saul after she (and her ponytail!) became famous for playing Kim Wexler, the lawyer and love interest of title character Saul.
She was Emmy-nominated for her depiction of the fan-favourite character, but while Better Call Saul may have been her breakthrough moment, there are some roles you might have forgotten about…
I’m With Her (2003)
One of Rhea’s first on-screen appearances was in the early 2000s sitcom I’m With Her.
The comedy followed a school teacher, Patrick, who has a chance run-in with an A-list movie star, and ends up dating her.
This is all much to the chagrin of her doubting sister Cheri, played by Rhea.
It all sounds very Notting Hill, right?
Ultimately, the series didn’t leave much of an impression, and was cancelled after one season after dwindling ratings, leaving a cliffhanger ending unresolved.
