Texas’ oil and gas billionaires are mobilizing to stop Vice President Kamala Harris from becoming president, and for one father-and-son duo, it’s personal.
Attack dogs from the American Petroleum Institute and the Texas Oil and Gas Association have slammed President Joe Biden and his administration. Never mind that under Biden, the United States has produced more oil and gas than ever in the nation’s history.
Taking the throne as the world’s largest energy producer is not enough for these conservative businesspeople. They want higher profits, even if it hurts consumers and emissions from their products overheat the planet.
