Jet2 has undoubtedly enjoyed great success over the years.
It has reaped the benefits of a strong tailwind from people’s appetite for travel in the wake of a coronavirus pandemic which curtailed overseas holidays so miserably, for so long.
However, Jet2 has also thrived because of its impressive operating model, including its customer service proposition and reliability.
The company has over the years built a very strong brand in a fiercely competitive sector.
Its advertising jingle, in the form of part of Jess Glynne’s Hold My Hand song, has gone from one of those bits of music that sticks in people’s heads to viral status on social media in recent months.
And, earlier this month, Jet2 was able to announce it had been recognised for “industry-leading sustainability initiatives” as well as for its commitment to extending its sustainability strategy “beyond aviation”, after being named the winner of the Package Holiday/Leisure Airline category at the global AirlineRatings.com 2025 Sustainability Awards.
Jet2 has over the years delivered very strong results. And, in July, it reported a record performance for the year........
