Honk. Litter. Complain. Repeat.

Every day we complain. Roads are dirty. Air is polluted. Traffic never moves. Water bodies are shrinking. Dogs roam in packs. City is becoming unlivable. However, before pointing at others, we should ask a difficult question: What part of this mess belongs to us?Yes, not everything is in our hands. But many things are. We often throw garbage just a few steps away from our homes. The logic is simple. “It is no longer my problem.” A plastic bag lands on the roadside. Leftover food is dumped near a drain. Fruit peels are tossed into an empty plot. By morning, stray dogs have scattered everything across the road.

Then we complain about the filth. We complain about the growing menace of dogs. Rarely do we connect the two. Garbage is not just waste. It becomes food. It attracts stray animals. It blocks drains. It breeds flies and rodents. A single careless act can affect an entire neighbourhood.The same story repeats itself everywhere. Some people spit on roads without a second thought. Some throw bottles, junk-food wrappers,........
