A civilized society derives its strength not from the mere existence of laws, but from their faithful, impartial, and timely implementation. Every public authority bears a solemn duty to uphold the law without fear, favour, or prejudice. Citizens legitimately expect that genuine grievances, once represented, shall be examined objectively and resolved according to settled law.Unfortunately, this ideal is not always realised. Issues that are legally clear and factually established are neither denied nor lawfully resolved. Instead, they are diverted into avoidable controversies through administrative manoeuvring, procedural complications, and shifting narratives. Such practices obscure the real issue. This write up is drawn from direct observation of ground realities during repeated interactions with departments and stakeholders while pursuing lawful civic concerns.
