Apart from the statistical facts about Maharashtra's worrisome financial condition, which emerged in the latest state assembly session, the other reality that emerged in the past two weeks in the state was how ineffective the opposition parties are now in the state's political climate and how they are unable to raise important issues in a period when the state is facing so many problems and the masses are suffering on various accounts.
