The IPO of Mynt—operator of e-wallet GCash and backed by Jaime Zobel de Ayala and his family’s Ayala Corp.—is raising 92.3 billion pesos ($1.5 billion) in what could be the Philippines’ largest maiden share sale.
Mynt’s IPO aims to sell as many as 9.23 billion shares, including an overallotment option of 1.2 billion shares, at up to 10 pesos apiece in a maiden share sale in October, according to its preliminary prospectus filed over the weekend. This could be the biggest listing since the 2021 debut of Monde Nissin, which raised $1 billion.
