Martin Grove, from Beccles, has been chosen for a 300-kilometre dog-sledding event across the Scandinavian Arctic.

Mr Grove is training for the feat alongside working for the East of England Ambulance Service.

Each year more than 10,000 people apply for the expedition from across the world, but only around 20 are chosen.

Mr Grove said: "I've applied for Fjällräven Polar for eight years,"
